That’s my point of view, apart from that, if you’re looking for smooth and stable Custom ROM then Monster ROM is good choice. It is based on stock firmware, comes with many tweaks to improve handset performance such as less RAM usage tweaks, internet tweaks and graphics tweaks to improve the overall gaming performance. Before proceeding to installation guide you must read all the pre-requisites listed below very carefully and make sure you phone compile with them.

Pre-requisites

This ROM is only made for Samsung Galaxy Core I8262 model and meant nothing for any other device. Don’t try this ROM over any other device. It could damage it to very high extent.
Your phone must be on Custom Recovery i.e CWM recovery. This ROM can only be flashed with CWM recovery. CWM recovery installation guide is also included this post, so use it to install CWM on your phone.
Backup your current ROM for future safety. If anything goes wrong after installing this ROM then you can switch back to old ROM using this backup. To make backup, go to recovery mode (look in installation guide), and then look for ‘backup and restore” then “backup“.
The process will erase your phone’s memory completely. So if you have saved any data on your phone’s internal memory then save it to some safe place before moving any other step.
Enable USB debugging, go to settings -> developers options ->then check the USB debugging box.
Make sure that your phone is charged to good extent. Is should be alive for whole process. It is recommended that you charge your phone up to 50%. This post have been updated with newer version of Rom, and few changes have been implemented in installation guide. The Monster Custom Rom is updated to build 3with many changes, improvements and addons features.

How to install CWM recovery on Samsung Galaxy Core I8262

If you’re already on CWM recovery then skip these steps and move to installation guide. This is only for stock recovery or recovery that comes with the hand set.
  1. Firstly download the CWM recovery image from  here (recovery.tar) to your PC.
  2. Now download Odin program here (Odin3-v1.85.zip)  to your PC and extract it to safe place. Now open the excatracted folder and look for “Odin3 v1.85.exe”. Run it and move to next step.
  3. Turn off the phone and wait for 5-7 seconds.
  4. Now press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power buttons until Warning message appears on screen, then press Volume Up to proceed to download mode.
  5. Now connect your phone to PC using USB cable, and look on Odin program, ID:COM section will turn to green. If not then try disconnect and again connect your phone. If still Odin does not catch your phone then you should install USB drivers using Samsung Kies first then try again.
  6. Now on Odin program, select “PDA” button and then find and locate the downloaded “recovery.tar” file. 
  7. On Odin make sure that “Re-Partition” box is unchecked and don’t make any changes.
  8. Click on Start button and wait for the completion.
So till now you have successfully installed CWM Recovery on your Samsung Galaxy Core I8262. :

How to install Monster Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy Core I8262

  1. Firstly download the two zip files listed in download section and put them to SD card of your device.
  2. Now turn off the device and wait for 5-7 seconds.
  3. Now boot into the recovery mode press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time until Samsung Logo appears on the screen. The release the buttons and you’ll at recovery mode very soon.
  4. Now from recovery mode perform the followings:
    1. Select and perform “Wipe data/Factory reset”.
    2. Select and perform “Wipe cache partition”.
    3. Go to “Mounts and Storage” and mount the followings: mount system, mount cache and mount data.
    4. Go to “Mounts and Storage” and select “format system” and perform it.
    5. Go to advance and then select and perform “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.
  5. Now it is time to install the ROM. Select “install from sd card” and then “choose zip from sd card” then find and locate the downloaded “532897011.zip” file. Select “Yes” on next screen to confirm the process. It will take several minutes to complete, till then wait.
  6. When it completes, again select “install from sd card” and then “choose zip from sd card” then find and locate the downloaded “fix1 for b2.zip” file and confirm “Yes” on next screen.
  7. When you done with installing both files, from recovery options select and perform “Wipe data/Factory reset”.
  8. Now select “reboot system now”.

Remember: First boot may takes up to 5 minutes to get you to home screen, so don’t get panic.
