Tilt-Scroll is a revolutionary application for rooted android devices, which adds a system-wide Tilt-to-scroll feature to your phone or tablet, so it works with any application on your device. Tilt-Scroll allows you to make the screen go upwards or downwards or sidewards just by tilting your smartphone . You don’t need to wait for your preferred application to implement tilt scrolling feature; All you need is “Tilt Scroll”, so get it now Tilt Scroll, developed by Ouadban Youssef, is available for free on Google Play and it does as the name suggests: scrolling using the tilt of the phone, instead of swiping the screen as per the norm. Before you get started though, your phone needs to be rooted.
How to Use it:
- Download the application
- Set it up.
- Enable the tilt gesture server and grant the superuser Permission that the app will ask for.
- Open the widget tab and select the play button opposite “Show Widget”. If you don’t like a widget crowding your screen every time, select “Show by Shaking” so that the the widget remains tucked away until you call it with a gentle shake.
- Configure the settings of app.
- Now to fine tune the settings to your liking: select the sensitivity of the shake and tilt gestures.
- You can even set the scrolling orientation i.e. vertical, horizontal or both.
- Now to use the app. Scrolling the app left or right is pretty straightforward, however the vertical scrolling isn’t as natural. To scroll up you need to tilt your phone towards yourself and to scroll down you need to tilt your phone away from yourself.
